About The Position

Our Patient Population: 21 Bed unit providing care to Cardiac/Telemetry care patients. Diagnosis includes: Cardiac Arrythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, Peritoneal Dialysis. Master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and Telemetry. 7 South RN's are ACLS certified within 6 months with ability to respond to all in house Code 4 calls. Cardiac: Skills acquired with telemetry interpretation, cardiac arrythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, Dialysis pre and post- assessments, and interventions. Develop collaborative relationships with a resourceful multi-disciplinary team. Coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Continuity of patient care through 12-hour shifts, patient centered care and team minded support. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
  • New Nurse Grads, Newly Licensed RN's and Experienced RN's Welcome!
