Requirements
- Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework with a passing score.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
Responsibilities
- The Monitor Technician is responsible for the on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RN's and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.
