About The Position
Northside Hospital is a growing, award-winning, state-of-the-art facility. The Monitor Technician is responsible for the continuous surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and remote telemetry systems. This role involves providing immediate notification to Registered Nurses and/or other clinicians regarding any changes observed in cardiac rhythms.
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy/physiology and medical terminology
- Previous health care experience
Responsibilities
- Perform on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry
- Provide RN's and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms
