Requirements

Florida RN license or multistate RN license (compact license holders must obtain FL RN within 60 days)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire
Acute care RN experience within the last 35 years
Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma

Nice To Haves

Experience in cardiac or medical-surgical units
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Assess patient conditions at admission and throughout each shift
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and monitor therapeutic responses
Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement individualized care plans
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
Respond promptly to patient needs and proactively anticipate potential issues
Advocate for patients and families to ensure safe, high-quality care
