Clinical Scope & Responsibilities Comprehensive Patient Care Diagnosis & Treatment: Evaluate and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions in an outpatient clinical setting. Advanced Wound Care: Manage chronic and complex wounds using evidence-based protocols. Procedures: Perform minor surgical procedures, exploratory treatments, and therapeutic/diagnostic injections. Diagnostics: Utilize and interpret musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound to guide treatment plans. Rehabilitation: Prescribe and manage physical therapy and Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Hospital & Continuity of Care Shared Call: Participate in a rotating hospital call schedule. Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary hospital teams to ensure seamless continuity of care for inpatient needs. Administrative Excellence EHR Mastery: Maintain accurate, real-time medical documentation. Revenue Integrity: Apply expert knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding to ensure billing accuracy and reduce claim denials. Why Southwest Florida? Requirements

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited institution.
  • Active (or eligibility for) Florida Podiatry License and DEA license.
  • Strong procedural confidence and the ability to manage both routine and complex cases.
  • Comfort practicing across multiple locations in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative, team-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • A long-term, career-oriented professional committed to the success of the practice and the community.

Nice To Haves

  • Board Qualified or Board Certified is highly preferred.
  • Open to both experienced providers and high-potential residents looking to establish their practice in Southwest Florida.
