Candidates with degrees in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or 5 years of Cardiology Medical Assistant will be favored. The Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist will help schedule patients, coordinate patient visits with reps, request records, answer phones and pools messages, remotes- pull information from website, scanning, monitor alerts on websites. This position is 40 hours a week within the hours of 7am-5pm. The schedule will move to four 10 hour shifts after training period. The role requires 7 day a week coverage from the team so there will be rotating schedules. The position will housed at our Main Campus but expected to travel to our South Campus and North Campus clinics. POSITION SUMMARY This position is integral to the Electrophysiology Program as is responsible for the clinical assessment of EP patients and evaluation and optimization of their cardiac device when present. This includes following clinical practice guidelines in combination with analysis and programing of all manufacturers’ cardiac implanted devices (i.e., pacemaker, AICD, OLR), cardiac resynchronization devices and event monitoring devices using specific manufacturers’ proprietary programmers to obtain cardiac functional data with clinical scenario.
