About The Position

Baptist Health is looking to add a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to our Diagnostic Cardiology Department at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This is a Full-Time, day shift opportunity of 4 10-hour shifts, Monday - Friday. We are seeking someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a commitment to patient care and safety. This Sonographer will operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-D images of the heart and will also help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients. Requirements

  • Adult Echo Credentials through either ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire
  • 1-2 years Cardiac Echo Sonography Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) (ARDMS-RDCS) Preferred
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Providing diagnostic examinations of the heart using Ultrasound techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
  • Reviewing and recording cases.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and high-quality images
  • Providing as-needed backup to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department.
  • Assist the working physicians in diagnosing heart problems in patients.
