Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including: Transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Stress Echocadiograms, Contrast and Bubble Studies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) (If Trained)
- Ensure proper documentation of exams and patient information in EMR and PACS systems.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and IAC accreditation requirements.
