About The Position

The Planner/Scheduler position plans and schedules all preventive, predictive and proactive work for the Aviation Department. Responsible for managing work order documentation in Maximo (computerized maintenance management system) for corrective maintenance and repairs for all divisions of Aviation.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience
  • A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered
  • A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare work plans and long-range planning.
  • Research product information and pricing, and develops procurement strategies.
  • Provide logistic support to department for material purchases, rental equipment, and contractor support.
  • Generate, assign, distribute, and close work orders for airport maintenance.
  • Provide training on Maximo and work order processes
  • Track, maintain, and stock inventory utilizing inventory control system.
  • Analyze Maximo reports for work backlogs, resource availability, maintenance history and work priority.
  • Document airfield daily and event inspections.
  • Oversee the Airport Storeroom and supervise administrative inventory control staff.
  • Work with the Contract Administrator to ensure service agreements are followed.
  • Enter new and updated badge information into the fuel management software for employee fuel access.
  • Order fuel and oil for the rental car facility and provide reports on usage.
  • Assist with budget planning. Provide expenditure forecasts utilizing service agreements and costs tracked through the work order system.
  • May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
