Job Summary The Cardiac Device Center is a dedicated ambulatory clinic providing outpatient, long-term, regularly scheduled, and remote management of patients with cardiac implantable electrical devices (CIEDs). Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Medical Director, the Cardiac Device Technician will assist in the management of all patients with CIEDs. Primarily the daily review and documentation of remote pacemaker, ICD, and implantable loop recorder (ILR) transmissions and alerts. This ambulatory setting requires the Device Technologist to work in a patient centric environment with a team approach to delivery of care. The Device Technologist must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in order to maximize the clinical relationship with the physician providers, independent licensed providers (NP/PA), clinical administrative staff, and other device center staff.
