Position Summary: Performs the primary functions of a Clinical Educator in assisting in the design, implementation and evaluation of educational programs. Responsibilities encompass four major components: orientation, inservice education, continuing education and competency validation. Functions in role of Nurse Planner and adheres to the criteria for nursing continuing education as established by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Coordinates and develops programs using evidence based practice standards. Serves on committees that maintain and improve the quality of Nursing standards and practice Maintains ongoing professional nursing competence according to assigned clinical area and responsibilities. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
  • 3 years of RN experience
