POSITION SUMMARY: This role focuses on supporting field sales efforts for growth, education, and market development within Cardiac Surgery and Electrophysiology (EP) departments, including ORs, EP labs, and related areas. It requires close collaboration and strategic planning with the sales team and education staff. The CAS/HCS will play a key role in account development by serving as a resource for sales managers, physicians, surgeons, and operating room personnel.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical or scientific field
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a surgical or lab environment preferred (industry or clinical setting)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels, including APP staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to travel 75-80%, depending on territory
  • Must pass all hospital and account credentialing requirements
  • Consistent and reliable performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong decision-making and judgement skills
  • Effective multitasking and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide field sales support in cardiac ORs, EP and Cath Labs, and related departments.
  • Train surgical and OR staff on the use of company devices through didactic instruction, hands-on labs, OR setup, troubleshooting, and live case support.
  • Assist physicians during live surgical procedures, including technology utilization and troubleshooting.
  • Engage with surgeons, physicians, and support staff through in-person meetings and calls to discuss company technology, training programs, and clinical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Professional Education, and Engineering teams to develop strategies and drive market growth.
  • Support market development efforts for cardiac surgery ablation and left atrial appendage management procedures.
  • Provide patient follow-up and support as requested by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication by reporting case notes, product feedback, and clinical insights.
