About The Position

We are seeking a qualified candidate to help lead our Night Shift Card Production Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the flow of production, strategic placement of staff, and the execution of labor plans to meet or exceed KPIs. The ideal candidate, although not required, will have previous leadership experience. The candidate chosen for this role will report directly to the Operations Manager. GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Operates production machines, inserters, printers, bursters, metering machines and general office equipment. • Performs high-speed, high-volume production tasks such as embossing, inserting and sorting to process card materials. • Sets up equipment, loads materials, clears jams and other simple malfunctions and unloads product from equipment. • Maintains productivity on all systems and delivers a quality product while meeting all production deadlines. • Identifies and resolves clearly defined problems. • Completes and maintains operator reports and logs. • Reconciles incoming and completed work. • Assign staff members to machinery and work orders. • Execute labor plans to achieve or exceed production goals. • Communicates all issues, concerns or questions to the Production Department Management team. • Work is generally repetitive and subject to inspection. • Other related duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to remain flexible to change in duties, workflow and priorities
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and extreme accuracy required
  • May require occasional lifting, standing, walking and bending and must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Typically requires seven or more years of demonstrated experience.
