About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Card Compliance Contractor within our Compliance Department. This position falls under our Compliance Operations team and is located in (Remote – Connecticut). In this role, you will leverage SQL expertise and business intelligence tools to deliver reporting, analytics, and data-driven insights that support the Compliance Operations team's objectives. You will collaborate across departments and business partners to address reporting and analytic needs, identify trends in complex data sets, and recommend process improvements. You will report directly to the Director of Compliance with secondary reporting responsibility to the Compliance Data Manager. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2+ years of professional experience with SQL, business intelligence and reporting tools, and advanced Excel
  • Prior experience in project management, BI Reporting, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), risk and controls analysis, or business process mapping
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills with the ability to partner across peers and upper management
  • Expertise in interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years in AML compliance, regulatory, audit, or related experience
  • Related certifications such as CPA, ACAMS, or similar
  • Experience in the production and development of reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Preparing quarterly analysis, reports, summaries, and dashboards using SQL and other business intelligence tools under the direction of the Compliance Data Manager
  • Collaborating with departments and business partners to understand and address reporting and analytic needs
  • Designing and producing custom reports based on client, business partner, and organizational requirements
  • Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends and patterns in complex data sets
  • Completing periodic quality assurance checks (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure data integrity
  • Writing, maintaining, and executing basic and complex data queries to generate required data sets
  • Acquiring data from primary and secondary data sources; maintaining and augmenting databases
  • Meeting SLA guidelines for file creation, information reconciliation, and system batch execution
  • Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities and recommending enhancements to current systems, policies, and strategies
  • Assisting with the coordination of regulatory exams, financial partner audits, and internal business unit assessments
  • Interfacing with technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of sources
  • Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for the Compliance Operations team
  • Participating in strategic and tactical planning discussions with other members of the business intelligence team to deliver analytical solutions
  • Performing other duties and projects as assigned
