About The Position

Lexus of Bellevue Lexus of Bellevue, a dealership part of the O'Brien Auto Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Car Biller to join our established accounting team. Position Overview The Car Biller is responsible for accurately processing, posting, and reconciling all vehicle sales transactions. This role ensures timely and precise accounting for dealer deals, funding, commissions, and related financial activities while maintaining compliance with dealership policies and accounting standards. This position pays $25.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Record all retail deals from the previous day in the electronic log system.
  • Log deals received by the office in electronic logs, updating status as items are completed or returned for missing documentation.
  • Process and receipt checks from the previous day’s deals; record outstanding balances in the administrative system.
  • Track and record pending bank funding and held offerings (via RouteOne) on the administrative tracker.
  • Maintain a color-coded admin file to monitor amounts owed that are aged five days or more.
  • Post CUDL and RouteOne funding; communicate any short fundings to the Finance team and record them in the admin tracker.
  • Preparing accounting entries, posting them into Ignite auditing the completion of all required forms within the car deal.
  • Paying off and processing all trade-ins.
  • Logging commissions for sales, delivery specialists, finance, and sales managers.
  • Maintaining team sheets and reports for month-end processing.
  • Calculating vehicle advisor bonuses, bonus trackers, and applicable hourly wages at month-end.
  • Enter and reconcile any “BBacks” in accounting to ensure all forms are accounted for.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounting schedules, including: New and used car inventory Vehicle receivables Contracts in transit Customer deposits Finance reserve accounts
  • Process all licensing and sales tax payments for out-of-state DMV transactions.
  • Match commission sheets with unit sales weekly to verify accuracy for sales personnel.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Work cooperatively, positively, and professionally with all team members across departments.
  • Treat customers and members of the public courteously and without discrimination.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and comply with company policies regarding non-discrimination and harassment.
