About The Position

The Capture and Proposal Lead works directly for the Director, Growth and Partnerships and is responsible for engaging directly with customers, partners and the broader Enabled Intelligence team ith a primary focus on delivery winning proposals, quotes, white papers, and other customer facing collateral and information. This position is also responsible for maximizing the use of EI's existing contract vehicles and IDIQ's by meeting with potential customers and helping them learn about these options and how to use them. Enabled Intelligence if looking for candidates with experience in U.S. Government proposals with a talent for communicating complex technical concepts clearly and a passion for our mission to deliver AI based solutions for defense, intelligence, and US government programs and missions. Manage and author Enabled Intelligence go-to-market documents: You will manage and co-develop RFX responses, white papers, slide decks, social media campaigns, and other materials in support of Product Company growth. Conduct market research: You will assist in performing market research on opportunities, customer organizations, competitors, potential partnerships, and domain-specific considerations on an as-needed basis. Scale internal content libraries and proposal processes: You will lead the effort to build and maintain a company content library to ensure document quality, effectiveness, and content creation efficiency. Work with Company Growth, Program and Technical leadership: You will join external engagements and internal product scoping efforts - and be responsible for translating a wide range of user needs and technical solutions into digestible content. We are seeking to leverage and grow from our solid foundation of existing government programs and contracts to larger government programs and solutions. For example, Enabled Intelligence was recently awarded a large single award IDIQ contract to provide data labeling services across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. This contract represents a fantastic opportunity for the Manager, Government Sales to bring EI data labeling services to new customers across the defense and intelligence market. The Capture and Proposal Lead is a new position at the company and we are seeking professionals able and willing to create aggressive business development strategies while also sharing the scrappiness and work ethic to do the grunt work to implement them. Enabled Intelligence provides a unique blend of technology product and service offerings in an emerging area (Artificial Intelligence). While we do have some established and defined products and services, AI tools that can meet the reliability and effectiveness needs of critical military and intelligence missions require customization and tuning leveraging real-life customer data, accurate training data creation (labeling) and software engineering to enable deployment at the edge. As such, business development at EI is a consultative process whereby we work with the customer to understand, or at least better frame, their needs and eventual goals, and develop strategies to adjusted and apply EI capabilities to achieve those needs. The Capture and Proposal Lead must have the experience and ability to understand the customer's goals in the customer's language while also having enough of a technical understanding of AI and Enabled's capabilities to define potential programs and solutions that meet customer needs within EI capabilities to deliver. We are looking for candidates who can truly listen and understand customer needs and work with EI technical team to develop effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with the federal government
  • Strong understanding of US defense and intelligence community procurement, budget, and vendor evaluation processes and practices
  • Applied knowledge proposal management and creation especially for government opportunities.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to create proposals, customer facing presentations, white papers, and conference/workshop presentations
  • Ability to work in an inclusive culture with a diverse team including people with disabilities
  • Eligibility to obtain a US security clearance
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Applicants selected will be subject to background investigation.
  • This position requires an active Secret Security clearance with the capability to obtain an SCI.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Business Development, capture or sales experience within the federal government
  • Experience working with defense and intelligence agencies
  • Experience with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations
  • Knowledge of the government use, development, application, and maintenance of artificial intelligence tools
  • Previous Imagery Analysis Experience
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
