Marsh Captive Solutions is seeking candidates for the following position based in the US, for a US Sales Leader for Captives. Captive Insurance- US Sales Leader What can you expect? The US Captive Sales Leader will play a critical role in driving overall growth, sales, strategy, and new captive formations single parent captives, cell captives, risk retention groups (RRG) and any other captive or alternative risk financing entities. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the captive insurance market for captives. Lead all new RFP (both defensive and offensive) for the US along with competitor managed captive takeovers. Build and maintain relationships with the broader Marsh Risk network including brokers, producers, client executives, global risk management leaders, Zone leaders, industry practice leaders among others. Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including law firms, carrier partners, brokers, consultants, COIs and potential clients. Collaborate with senior management to define and implement growth strategies for the captive insurance business. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on captive insurance structures, feasibility studies, and formation processes. Assist the local domicile colleagues with the onboarding and the end-to-end process of captive formation, including regulatory approval, documentation, and ongoing management, along side of the US Consulting team or management Teams. Assist with conducting financial analysis and risk assessments to recommend optimal captive solutions for clients, along side of the US Consulting Team. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, actuarial, legal, and compliance, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. What is in it for you? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
  • 6-10+ years of experience in captive insurance, with a proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of captive insurance markets in all US domicile states, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Barbados, and a strong understanding of property, casualty, commercial reinsurance, and life reinsurance (if applicable)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop innovative solutions

Nice To Haves

  • If you have an advanced degree.
  • If you hold an internationally recognized professional accounting qualification with public accounting experience (e.g. CPA, ACA, CA) or insurance and/or risk management qualification (e.g. ACII, CPCU, CIRM).
  • Captive specific designations or experience is a major plus.
