About The Position

We are a high-growth rollup in the pet industry , rapidly expanding our footprint through acquisitions and rebranding of existing locations. We’re seeking a Capital Projects Manager to own and execute CapEx projects across our growing portfolio. This is a highly autonomous, execution-focused role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, process-light environment and enjoys building structure as they go. You’ll manage approximately 10 CapEx projects per quarter , supporting both newly acquired and existing locations. Projects are focused on rebranding and light remodels —such as signage, paint, and minor layout changes—rather than large-scale construction. This role is ideal for a strong project manager who can juggle multiple initiatives, manage vendors and contracts, and build scalable processes as the company grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (field flexible)
  • Proven experience managing multi-site projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing external vendors
  • Comfortable working with minimal structure and building processes from scratch
  • Professional, organized, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership

Nice To Haves

  • Pet industry experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute capital rebrand projects across a multi-site portfolio
  • Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and contracts from kickoff through completion
  • Oversee rebranding initiatives for newly acquired and existing locations
  • Track project spend and progress using Excel-based tools and dashboards
  • Partner with Operations and Marketing (capex strategy is set, you execute)
  • Build and refine facilities and project management processes as the function scales
  • Operate independently while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned
