Requirements

Proven experience in project management within the manufacturing or industrial sector(5+ yrs).
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to manage projects across various disciplines.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

Nice To Haves

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Experience in steel manufacturing.
Knowledge of other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, budget, and schedule.
Design and coordinate detailed engineering for new construction and expansion projects
Develop specifications, bid packages, construction schedules, etc. to insure completion of projects on time and within budget.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for each job
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
