About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of facilities and equipment database management for commercial facilities at JLL. This role ensures accurate data maintenance within the VFA database system, supports capital planning processes, and provides critical facility information to management teams. This position contributes to JLL's business objectives by enhancing facility data integrity, supporting informed decision-making, and ensuring efficient facility operations across multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in project management with ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, compressed air, central plant and electrical distribution systems
  • Experience with documentation systems and databases
  • Strong analytical skills with superior written and oral communication abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with high-level internal and external clients

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences industry
  • Prior facility and/or construction management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Electrical, etc.)
  • Experience with process improvement and efficiency initiatives
  • Presentation skills for delivering information to management teams
  • Experience with capital planning processes
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend and implement improvements to existing processes

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update data within the VFA database, ensuring information is current as facility projects are completed
  • Develop and manage the information gathering process across multiple sites
  • Create and oversee the schedule for facility assessments across sites
  • Manage security access and permissions for the database system
  • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports based on VFA data analysis
  • Participate in annual planning, one-year rolling plans, and five-year capital planning processes
  • Interface with engineering teams and facility managers across various locations
