About The Position

At Regions the Capital Markets Fixed Income Sales and Trading Lead is responsible for sales and trading business within the Corporate Bank. This product lead will lead sales and distribution efforts with a focus on structured products (collateralized loan obligations), identify opportunities and manage a trading book in the respective markets. Primary responsibility will be the distribution of New Issue Product generated by Regions’ Corporate Banking Team. Additional contacts with CLO and Money Manager accounts is beneficial as secondary responsibilities will be the distribution of primarily syndicated loans in the secondary market. This position will be based in our new Charlotte Office.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Ten (10) years of capital markets fixed income trading experience, at least five (5) years of which include proven experience and deep relationships with Middle Market Loan Accounts
Must possess solid knowledge of structured products, including collateralized loan obligations
Extensive trading product knowledge
Developed network of client contacts
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated positive leadership skills and principles
Series 7 and/or 79, 24, 63

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing client relationships, business development, and transactional activities.
Leverages industry and product knowledge to drive revenue growth
Evaluates and manages a CLO trading book, including review of market conditions and credit trends
Identify and effectively communicates with analysts, associates and Regions' team members
Execute trades across a structured product markets
Assists in developing strategy and objectives for designated business area
Coaches and mentors junior staff
Develops and maintains effective internal working relationships across Regions Bank
Applies solid risk management skills to make complex risk decisions
