About The Position

As a Capital Markets Credit Risk Analyst Intern, you'll gain valuable experience developing risk frameworks that provide visibility into credit risk exposure of our mortgage servicing portfolio. You'll learn to build tools and analytic data sets that enable the Capital Markets team to make informed strategic decisions related to mortgage servicing assets. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial analytics, risk assessment, and collaborative work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. About the Role Assist in developing driver-based credit risk analytics that provide a framework for credit risk decision making Learn to analyze and summarize mortgage performance data under guidance from experienced analysts Help identify trends and concerns, and participate in formulating recommended actions Support cross-functional collaboration with various business units on strategic and credit risk initiatives Contribute to Credit Risk Model development alongside Data Science teams for use in asset pricing Gain experience researching and working with large third-party data sets to build market-based comparative risk analytics Receive mentorship and training in risk management principles and financial services industry standards About You Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in finance, math, computer science, or a related field Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information Basic understanding of financial concepts and risk management principles Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (V-lookup/Pivot Tables) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Previous coursework in risk management, statistics, or financial analysis Knowledge of SQL Interest in mortgage or financial services industry Experience with data visualization tools What you’ll get Our team members fuel our strategy, innovation and growth, so we ensure the health and well-being of not just you, but your family, too! Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in finance, math, computer science, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information
