As a Capital Markets Assistant Sr. Sales/Trade SWAP within PNC's Capital Markets organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. As a member of CAST within the COO organization of the Capital Markets line of business, you will play a client facing role focused on proactive outreach, document collection, and supporting the client onboarding experience. You will develop a strong understanding of capital markets products and the documentation, regulatory, risk, and workflow requirements for each account type. You will partner closely with the sales team to guide clients through onboarding and ensure they are prepared to trade as efficiently as possible. Given the dynamic nature of the business, you will also contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, a high degree of organization, resourcefulness, and close attention to detail. Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with complex capital markets transactions and supports the assigned sales/trading team; provides high quality customer service with respect to client inquiries, transaction support, reporting and database management.
  • Executing assigned responsibilities proactively with a high degree of autonomy. This includes self-directed problem solving and trade execution on a reverse inquiry basis.
  • Processes or coordinates corporate and institutional client requests for the purchase or sale of capital markets products.
  • Acts as primary liaison between front office and operations team for the sales/trading desk.
  • Performs administrative and support tasks for a sales/trading team.
  • Tracks client documentation and trade settlement processes.
  • Develops a working knowledge of the products and capabilities of the assigned business.
  • Provides support for client relationships and ensures consistency and continuity in their support role.
  • Acts as first point of escalation for client services requests to provide an enhanced customer experience.
  • Training and providing job-related guidance on processes, products, and clients to junior members of the team.
