The Capital Asset Accountant ensures these investments are tracked, protected, and optimized across the property. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending analytical work with the dynamic pace of hotels, resorts, and hospitality operations. Under general supervision of the Controller, responsible to maintain the records of fixed assets, enter accurate financial data, develop inventory policies and procedures, report, and perform other related tasks. Identify the fixed assets of the organization, depreciation value, and ensure that the assets are being constantly tracked and maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Maintain confidentiality of all relevant financial information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting plus directly related asset accounting work experience is required.
  • Must be 21 years of age to meet gaming licensing requirements.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California.

Nice To Haves

  • Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred.
  • Tribal preference given to enrolled tribal members.
