About The Position

Manage the delivery of enterprise platform capabilities of a Center of Excellence. The Capability Delivery Manager (CDM) leads the team through the operational delivery of innovative capabilities using agile practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least three years in an agile management or mentoring role.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams using a variety of agile practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication, motivation, and collaboration skills required.
  • Demonstrated understanding and delivery of business value a must.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the work delivery of enterprise capabilities by a Center of Excellence.
  • Actively seeks ways to improve performance by optimizing agile practices of the Center of Excellence team.
  • Collaborates across product owners, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver timely and meaningful capabilities that benefit the entire enterprise.
  • Leads the daily activities of the team and effectively navigates team dynamics.
  • Escalates and removes roadblocks as needed to support the team’s mission.
  • Facilitates agile ceremonies such as standup, retros, refinement sessions to effectively manage work across the team.
  • Collaborates across capabiltiy delivery managers to improve processes and coordinate delivery of multi-COE initiatives.
  • Actively promotes and engages in the Capability Delivery Domain to improve processes and methodologies.
  • Engage and collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager community of practice to deliver business value.
  • Encourage and empower the organization to use COE capabilities.
  • Facilitates delivery engagements including setting delivery expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
