CVS Health has an exciting opportunity in Mount Prospect, Il for a Canister Calibration Technician to be a part of our Pharmacy Maintenance Team! The Canister Calibration Technician is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your skills and experience to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will make a difference by exceling in a complex, high impact dispensing environment and positively impacting the lives of others. You will work alongside a team of talented individuals in a concerted team effort and under the direct supervision of a Lead Mechanic and Maintenance Supervisor. Your duties will include building, repairing, and maintaining drug canisters for the automated drug dispensing equipment (Opti-Fill). You will be involved in cleaning the canisters per prescribed schedules and procedures, auditing canister performance, testing canister performance and investigating quality assurance issues. You will also troubleshoot canister electro-mechanical problems. Knowledge of basic computer skills is required as you will be maintaining the canister information database. Job specific training will be provided, and we are looking for an applicant interested in making a difference in someone’s life. To be successful in this role you must have strong written and verbal communication, strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 2PM-10:30 PM
