About The Position

We are seeking a Cancer Registry Technician to: Review medical records to identify cases for inclusion in the Cancer Registry using coding knowledge and registry specifications. Interpret complex medical information in the medical record to enter follow up outcomes for Cancer cases. Requirements

Associate's Degree Or higher in healthcare related field Required
Three (3) years of cancer data abstraction experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below Required
1 year Of healthcare experience involving medical terminology, cancer data abstraction or a cancer related field Required

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree In Cancer Information Management (CIM) Preferred
3 years Of healthcare experience involving medical terminology, cancer data abstraction or a cancer related field Preferred
