Requirements

• Bachelor's degree AND one year of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a patient care clinical or medical environment; oncology- related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Responsibilities

• The Cancer Care Liaison is responsible for providing information, support, encouragement, and assistance in overcoming barriers for patients and caregivers in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure access to high quality patient-centered care throughout the continuum.
• The Cancer Care Liaison works under the supervision of the assigned Coordinator.
