About The Position
Canadian Tax Manager Full Time Term Position The Role Reporting to the Global Tax Director, the Canadian Tax Manager is a key member of the Tax Team, responsible for ensuring full compliance with Canada’s evolving tax laws and regulatory requirements. Under the oversight of the Senior Tax Manager, Global Tax, and the Global Tax Director, this role supports the delivery of Canadian statutory tax compliance across indirect and direct taxes, tax accounting, and assists with Canadian tax planning, incentives, audit defense, and tax governance initiatives.
Requirements
- CPA or other relevant professional designation
- 5+ years of Canadian corporate tax experience
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
- Candidates considered for the role must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada.
- A Canadian Criminal Record Check may be required for certain positions as part of the final stages of the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Manage corporate tax compliance and GST/HST, QST, and PST filings
- Support tax accounting and reporting in accordance with IFRS
- Assist with tax audits, assessments, and interactions with tax authorities
- Support tax planning initiatives, incentives, and M&A due diligence
- Identify tax risks, process gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiency and automation
- Partner with internal stakeholders
