About The Position

Grand Canyon University! One of Arizona’s leading institutions of higher learning. Located in the Valley of Sun in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, GCU is a regionally accredited, private, nondenominational Christian University. Grand Canyon Universities Event Services is seeking a Campus Scheduling Coordinator. This position is an administrative role which coordinates data/information, tasks, activities, workflow and/or processes for the Campus Scheduling Department. The administrative duties are of varying complexity, which involve request processing through the University scheduling system and completes associated tasks based on experience and knowledge of institutional/departmental policies and procedures. Pay Range: 40-42K What you will do: Assist in prioritizing, planning, scheduling, arranging and executing details for events or meetings including logistical requirements scheduled by campus departments. Monitor and process various campus department contact/request information and data through related forms and documents. Under general direction, collaborate scheduling calendar with University Event Services – Event Coordinators and Director on assignment and event logistics. May assist with reviewing and processing outside group requests and reconcile facility use agreements, certificate of insurance, invoices, etc. and collaborate with accounting for payment. Workflow involves monitoring, posting, and processing various data, forms, documents, contracts, reports, and other information as specified/necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Must pass pre-employment background investigation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Prior administrative/office work experience preferred.
