University of Iowa Campus Safety is seeking a Dispatcher I. Under general supervision, the person in this role provides communications and coordination of a public safety nature for university Campus Safety, other departments, and also for surrounding public safety agencies by utilizing multi-frequency radio, computer networks, telephone, and personal contact. This position is responsible for monitoring university emergency phones and various alarm systems. This position is performed fully on campus. Department pays for all applicable training and certification costs. Employees are compensated for time attending required trainings.
