As a part of this mission and vision, we are dedicated to developing church campuses in the greater Boston area with a commitment to being “one church with many campuses.” The purpose of this position is to provide leadership as a gifted Campus Pastors with a deep passion for advancing God’s kingdom work in our region. We are currently seeking a leader at our Foxboro campus to inspire, build and lead a large congregation of committed leaders, volunteers, and attendees. Campus Overview: Our Foxboro Campus is located on the south shore of Boston, just minutes away from Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. It has a weekly worship attendance of about 100 weekly attenders with a worship service at 10:00 AM, featuring a more contemporary style of worship and Kidstown, as well as a weekly student ministry meeting. Foxboro is ethnically diverse with about 40% of its attendance being non-Caucasian. Foxboro’s 3 highest priorities are Groups, Reaching the Next Generation and the Sunday Experience.

Requirements

To be effective in this role, a successful candidate for this full-time position will be a growing Christ-follower who possesses many of the following core gifts and passions:
Leader: A gifted and energetic team-builder and an inspirational leader who can cast a clear and compelling vision and who will equip people to find, develop and act on their God-given calling.
Pastor/Shepherd: A pastor who longs to embrace, assimilate and care for those believers and seekers whom God will bring to this campus.
Communicator: An individual with the ability to preach, teach and communicate effectively in large and small group settings.
Theological Depth: A continuous learner with a strong theological foundation and biblical understanding that enables him or her to function with effectiveness and discernment. Advanced theological degree preferred.
Champion of Diversity: An individual who values the diversity that God has brought to Grace Chapel and will work to increase it.
Self-starter: Someone who is entrepreneurial and internally driven to achieve the mission God is laying out for us and able to manage her/himself accordingly.
Pastoral Ministry degree and relevant ministry experience. Bachelor's degree required, Masters Preferred
Has an active and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Practices personal spiritual disciplines and leads with humility, character, and love.
Able to clearly communicate and embrace Grace Chapel Church's mission, vision, values and strategy.
Experience leading volunteer teams, developing and equip leaders
Has a willing spirit to help support each ministry within Grace Chapel Church to the best of their ability.
Gifted in pastoring, teaching or worship leading as well as project management, organizational and administrative skills.
Relational skills and the ability to develop community life.
A self-motivated leader, capable of managing self and others, and effective in developing and implementing church systems

Responsibilities

Casts vision for and leads the Foxboro Campus within the broader context of Grace Chapel. Serves as the face of the Campus for the local congregation and the local community.
Develops strategy for growth and energizes campus for outreach.
Regularly serves as “Host” of the worship services at Foxboro.
Leads and supervises Foxboro Staff Members (currently 4) and oversees the Foxboro Staff Group Coaches.
Recruit, train, & equip team members & volunteers to serve in their area of giftedness, leveraging existing ministries as well as starting new ones.
Builds and leads a pervasive, high-quality, and volunteer-run Life Community ministry as the primary connection point to the Foxboro congregation.
Preaches on occasion to cast vision and contextualize the broader message of the Grace Chapel teaching team to the local needs of the local congregation.
Oversee the Foxboro Campus Budget and Giving.
Partners with the Foxboro Campus Regional/Global Partners and well as the Foxboro community outreach partners.
Oversees all Communication Platforms for the Foxboro Campus
Promote attendance, giving, serving, group life, baptisms, and membership.
Ensures follow-up as the initial connection point for those that are identifying themselves as new to the Foxboro Campus
Facilitate weddings, funerals and provide hospital visitation when requested.
Involved in the life of Grace Chapel (beyond specific campus).
