No matter where you're located—on campus or online—you are part of a mission that transforms lives and makes a difference across the state of Texas and beyond The Campus Operations Senior Coordinator, under general supervision, is responsible for guiding and supporting the efficient and effective management of organizational operations to ensure optimal utilization of university resources. Tracks and analyzes data, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals. Provides input and oversight of strategic administration, coordination, and support. Demonstrates exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Assists with the planning, implementation, and oversight of multiple intricate projects and serves as a liaison with other university departments. The Campus Operations Senior Coordinator plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department by supporting strategic goals, driving continuous improvement, and fostering collaboration across departments. This is an in-office position located in Stephenville, Texas with work hours of Monday to Friday; from 8am to 5pm or as work requirements indicate. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Requirements

  • Education – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience – Six years related experience
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of an organization, manage multiple projects and priorities with deadlines, respond quickly to changing situations, and work well under pressure while maintaining individual and team effectiveness.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and foster a teamwork atmosphere.
  • Goal oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively plan and organize programs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive operational support to leadership, including organizing meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.
  • Provides valued input and assists in planning, implementation, and management of multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Tracks, compiles, and analyzes operational data to support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Identifies and reports operational challenges and contributes to the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Monitors and manages the allocation of resources to optimize productivity and ensure resource utilization aligns with university and departmental needs.
  • Supports hiring managers in the recruitment process and facilitates employee onboarding.
  • Provides training to employees on updated policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Represents executive leadership in meetings or committees and acts on behalf of leadership when needed.
  • Plans, executes, and monitors progress of assigned special projects.
  • Reviews contracts, offers recommendations, and provides support for contract administration.
  • Acts as a representative of Campus Operations and as a valued member of Tarleton State University as part of the A&M system and performs other duties as assigned.
