The Campus Minister provides leadership for and actively contributes to the ongoing development, expression and reflection on the University’s Catholic heritage and culture in concert with and support of the Mission and Values of the University. The Campus Minister is responsible for the oversight and development of opportunities to assist members of the university community (students, faculty and staff) in their spiritual growth and development, primarily through the sacramental and liturgical life of the campus community, and other faith-related programmatic offerings. The Campus Minister provides pastoral care and spiritual guidance to members of the university community as needed and in service to the spiritual health and growth of the individual and the university community. The Campus Minister collaborates with a wide-range of university personnel and academic and co-curricular departments in order to enhance the overall educational experience of Carlow University students, and with the other Catholic Universities in our area and with Campus Ministers in The Conference For Mercy Higher Education. This position follow a ten-month academic calendar, June and July being the normal time off.
