About The Position

Archbishop Moeller High School is an all-male, Catholic high school (grades 9–12) located in Cincinnati, OH. Founded by the Marianist order of Priests and Brothers, Moeller is a Catholic high school in the Marianist tradition. Moeller strives to educate all students, regardless of ability, in Mind, Body, and Spirit within a Community of Brothers. Moeller is nationally recognized for its House System and continues to be a leader in the integration of technology, celebrating over 20 years as a one-to-one tablet school. Moeller offers a comprehensive, college preparatory curriculum which includes over 30 Advanced Placement/College Credit Plus courses, as well as courses in visual and performing arts, world language, business, and information technology. Moeller is seeking a hybrid Campus Minister/Religion Teacher to join our dynamic, dedicated, and collaborative faculty starting in August 2026. This position is a shared role, consisting of part-time campus ministry focused on athletic ministry and the teaching of three religion classes.

Requirements

Experience in youth ministry, campus ministry, or faith-based leadership, preferably with student-athletes
Strong collaboration skills and experience working with coaches, adult volunteers, and student leaders
High level of organizational and communication skills
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and occasional weekends tied to athletic events
Must be a practicing Catholic
Bachelor’s degree required
Teaching certification preferred or willingness to work toward certification

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Campus Ministry liaison to the Athletics Department
Develop, coordinate, and oversee faith formation opportunities for student-athletes
Recruit, train, and support adult and student chaplains for each Moeller athletic program
Collaborate with coaches to integrate faith, character formation, and Marianist values into athletic culture
Plan and lead prayer services, reflections, and faith-based programming connected to athletic seasons and events
Support student-athletes through pastoral care, presence, and accompaniment, including during times of injury, loss, or transition
Promote the Marianist identity and traditions of the school within the athletic community
Collaborate closely with the Campus Ministry team, including the Director of Formation of Faith, Director of Service, Justice, and Peace, Administrative Assistant, and Priest Chaplain
Work in partnership with Athletic Directors, athletic department staff, coaches, and moderators to ensure consistency and alignment of mission
Assist with broader Campus Ministry initiatives as needed, including retreats, liturgies, and service opportunities
Teach three religion classes
Participate fully in faculty life, including meetings, professional development, Moeterm (weeklong, school-wide experiential learning), and other school-wide events
