About The Position

Shepherds Ministries is hiring a Campus Director to support their upcoming Empowered 4 Life Center in Franklin, TN. Shepherds Ministries is dedicated to helping young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities develop greater independence. The Campus Director for the Empowered 4 Life Center serves as the administrator of an assigned school or center, overseeing all operations and personnel management of their campus in pursuit of Shepherds’ mission. The role involves promoting Shepherds’ culture, core beliefs, and key behaviors to create a learning environment where students thrive. Shepherds College is a Christ-centered, post-secondary school for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, committed to growth through Appropriate Independence™. Their mission is to empower students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by equipping them with the skills, support, and spiritual foundation they need to live lives of dignity, purpose, and Appropriate Independence™. They believe each student has God-given potential and are called to nurture it with compassion, excellence, and truth.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of all campus programming.
  • Promote close working relationships with parents, students, and staff.
  • Manage and administer the student conduct, discipline, and complaint policies while directing students to acknowledge and manage responsible personal conduct.
  • Develop, promote, and evaluate goals and objectives for programs under his/her supervision.
  • Assess student needs and provide support services to respond to those needs.
  • Evaluate the performance of staff in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Work closely with other members of the staff in support of student development and learning.
  • Oversee the collection, entry, and verification of educational management information and student data.
  • Work with enrollment services to coordinate student retention efforts and enrollment management in accordance to the college’s strategic plan.
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, and evaluation of staff in appropriate disciplines.
  • Interact with prospective students, parents, educators, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the campus budget, including the monitoring and approval of expenditures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
