About The Position

The Supervisor position will be located in a higher education school setting. This person will be responsible for overseeing the daily/weekly processes and standards for the company dining services and the day-to-day operations of the commissary. Main responsibilities will be: Front of House cleanliness and standards, following Genuine standards for signage, leading a team to maintain health department standards, managing daily prep and ensuring all food safety & sanitation standards are being met.

Requirements

  • Must be flexible & team-oriented!
  • 3+ year of hostess/front of house supervisory experience
  • 1+ year of management experience
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness.
  • Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
  • Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs.
  • Interest in and committed to Genuine Foods’ mission to use food to help students enhance their minds, bodies and happiness.
  • Must be able to work in a school environment.
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and help craft great daily services and special events for our clients while being mindful of client preferences, tastes and nutrition.
  • Collaborate with the Chef and Food Service Director to ensure all health and efficiency standards are met.
  • Complies for food safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Assist in supervising the team, overseeing all aspects of daily food service operation & serving including culinary and operational excellence, staff/skills training, daily troubleshooting, and site cleanliness and organization.
  • Continuously improve and propel forward visual/service aspects of operations.
