Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of campus grounds preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience working with the community, building relationships or equivalent customer service experience
  • Networking and relationship-building skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • The ability to work independently while displaying initiative
  • Friendly, positive, energetic, outgoing
  • Dependable; punctual and regular attendance
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and support the credit union’s mission and values

Responsibilities

  • Representing Neches FCU at Lamar University’s campus, ensuring visibility and awareness of our branch
  • Educating and informing the Lamar community about our products and services available at the Branch
  • Seeking out opportunities on the Lamar Campus
  • Supporting business development initiatives on campus and collaborating with the Community Impact team to assist with various campus events.
  • Conducting in-class sessions on financial education
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Lamar students, faculty, and staff.
  • Delivering exceptional member service by answering inquiries and resolving members concerns promptly and effectively
  • Providing guidance and information to members on ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) services
  • Logging and tracking account openings
  • Monitoring inventory levels of promotional materials specific to Lamar University
  • Conducting end-of-day balancing and processing tasks
  • Completing various transaction reports
  • Other duties as assigned
