We are seeking a senior Campus Architect and Strategic Site Planner to provide institution-level architectural and site planning leadership to advance development and long-range vision of LLNL’s built environment. In this highly collaborative role, you will integrate campus architecture, site planning, and facility siting practices, leveraging subject matter expertise to support the evolution and implementation of the Site Development Plan (SDP), and guide the preparation, review, and application of Findings and Determinations (F&Ds) and related siting or approval documentation. You will help ensure that campus form, function, and image effectively support current and future Laboratory missions by translating mission needs into actionable campus planning strategies, standards, and project-level direction. This position is within the Director’s Office. This position will be filled at either the TSS.4 or TSS.5 level depending on your qualifications. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if you are selected at the higher level. This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week, after a probationary period. The specifics of the hybrid schedule, including the exact number of days required in the office and virtual work options, may vary based on the needs of the team and the organization.
