The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising the work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive cottages at the resort. The supervisor may assign duties, inspect work, investigate housekeeping service and equipment complaints, and take corrective action. The supervisor may also purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.
