About The Position

The Campaign Plan Support Specialist will work in the Organizational Change Management (OCM) Division in the Headquarters, United States Space Force (HQSF) Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) that is charged with developing, managing, and implementing USSF Campaign Plan and/or other strategic guidance (e.g., re-optimizing for Great Power Competition (GPC)). The Campaign Plan and/or other strategic documents are designed to guide the USSF and operational activities, as well as ensuring the proper alignment of all existing USSF frameworks, including Program Action Directive (PAD), Mission Directives (MDs), Chief of Space Operations (CSO) Lines of Effort, C-Notes, G and I Directives, and L1 Strategic Initiatives. The Change Management Team Division will lead the implementation and governance of the Campaign Plan and/or other strategic efforts to ensure accurate progress tracking, elevation of key risks and decisions to leaders, and continuing alignment with leadership priorities. The Division will also work the synchronization of HQ and field leadership on priorities and coordinated execution toward a united whole. Last, the Division will provide strategy and execution support for USSF strategic leader forums to enable enterprise discussion, alignment, and decision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (e.g., Business Administration, Systems Engineering)
  • Experience leading projects, managing team members, conducting organizational assessments, and gathering and analyzing data (both qualitatively and quantitively)
  • Ability to work up to 100% of the time alongside clients in a virtual and/or in-person environment based on Government task lead needs
  • Ability to collaborate with requirements analysts to decompose functional process requirements for technical tool implementation and present and explain findings to teammates and the leadership team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to constantly changing requests
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems to derive insights
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Work in person, on site at either the Potomac Gateway North (PGN) building in Crystal City or the Pentagon (8 hours daily), with occasional remote/telework as directed by the Government task lead.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the Headquarters Staff of the US Space Force or US Air Force
  • Three or more years of experience facilitating process improvement workshops using Agile methodologies
  • Six Sigma and/or Lean Six Sigma Black or Master Black Belt Certification from ASQ, IASCC, or other certifying authority
  • Experience conducting statistical analyses
  • Two or more years of experience leading or supporting development of business development/marketing white papers and/or proposals

Responsibilities

  • Successfully work as part of a team in the Change Management Team Division to successfully develop, manage, and implement U.S. Space Force (USSF) Campaign Plan.
