Department Description: The Campaign Manager is part of the Development & Membership branch, a team of 18 staff members leading organization-wide fundraising efforts. This includes a robust range of programs – membership, major gifts, events, legacy gifts, grants, campaigns, and other special fundraising initiatives. The Development team is critical to identifying, engaging, stewarding, and leveraging philanthropic, public, and individual support to advance the Parks Conservancy’s mission in San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo Counties. Redwood Renewal is a sweeping, multi-year effort to help protect the health of Muir Woods for the next generations. Over the past decade, the Parks Conservancy and National Park Service have completed a series of projects leading into this latest effort, including implementation of a parking reservation system, repairs to the Redwood Creek habitat, and updates to Muir Woods water infrastructure. This campaign marks the next chapter, focusing on furthering the conservation, engagement, and sustainability of this rare ecosystem over the next century and beyond. This will be a truly historic effort in one of America’s most iconic national monuments, blending crucial environmental stewardship with public access and visitor experience.
