The Preschool Camp Supervisor oversees a summer camp program serving 45–50 preschool-aged children (ages 4–5) and leads a team of 8 counselors. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging camp environment through thoughtful supervision, clear communication, and intentional planning. Key responsibilities include daily communication with families, supervising children’s safety and care, organizing and delegating weekly themed activities, and overseeing immersive, developmentally appropriate experiences. The Supervisor also supervises two offsite field trips and supports staff through guidance, organization, and leadership. This role requires regular use of technology to take photos, document activities, and communicate with families. The position may include lifting during camp set-up, clean-up, or while supervising children; candidates must be able to lift and carry 30–40 pounds. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, responsible, and passionate about supporting young children’s growth through play, exploration, and positive relationships. The camp is located at the Alcott Center.
