About The Position

Join Colville, Inc. as a Camp Second Cook and experience the thrill of working in the breathtaking Alaskan frontier! We’re looking for a culinary professional with grit and heart for our Brooks Camp in Prudhoe Bay to help us keep our operations running with high-energy meals and high standards. The Camp Second Cook plays a key role in feeding the heart of Colville. You’ll assist the Head Chef in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals that fuel our crews and keep spirits high. You'll keep things clean, organized, and badass—just like we like it.

Requirements

Experience as a cook or prep cook, or just starting your culinary journey
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Alaska Food Handler’s Card (Must be able to complete upon hire.)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Must be able to pass a pre-hire non-DOT drug test (7-panel) and a Fit-for-Duty exam.

Nice To Haves

Experience with industrial kitchen equipment

Responsibilities

Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for camp participants and staff
Manage inventory, track supplies, and help with monitoring food and supplies
Handle set up and cleanup of dining areas
Work as a tight unit with the kitchen team
