Summer Camp at the JCCSF offers one-week to three-week sessions in both the traditional day camp and specialty camp settings for campers in grades K-8. Summer Camp is in session June 1 - August 21. Our classic day camps feature arts & crafts, STEAM projects, and sports. Specialty camps include visual arts, nature exploration, musical theater, science and more. The camp office manager will be a main point of contact for families calling the office and will be responsible for knowing the whereabouts of all camps at all times. This position is vital in being the “glue” that keeps all camp communication flowing smoothly and knows when to disseminate key information to appropriate supervisors, in addition to also knowing where the actual “glue” and materials for camp projects is when staff need extra supplies. The camp office coordinator will help create the rooftop playground schedule for the entire JCCSF Camps, help supervise camp day-to-day logistics, camper experiences, camper interactions, staff scheduling, staff support, and administrative office tasks. As a member of the camp leadership team, the office coordinator will play a lead role in the organization and implementation of staff training. The ideal candidate will have administrative experience with a strong background working with direct customer service, young children in a camp or school setting, experience in organizing schedules and logistics, ability to wear many hats while multitasking, with an excellent attention to detail and a collaborative work environment.
