Location: Lakeland Hills Family YMCA, Mountain Lakes, NJ Dates: June 22nd – August 14th (Optional add on of August 17 – 21st) Required Orientation (One Needed) runs throughout June 1- 14 (Evenings/Weekends) Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00PM Duties include communication with all parents, working in camp and Microsoft software, ordering weekly lunch and treats with our vendors, attendance logging, managing early dismissals, and following state guidelines. Great opportunity for Business Management students. Essential Functions Supervises and manages all daily office tasks. Maintains accurate attendance logs for the season via PlayerSpace and Microsoft Excel. Maintains waitlists and rosters for camp throughout the season (lunch and group rosters). Answers phone calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely manner. Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards. Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies. Cultivates positive relationships and maintains effective communication with parents, children, and staff. Models’ relationship-building skills in all interactions. Help parents as needed with Daxko registrations, PlayerSpace app, and any related troubleshooting. Work with the bookkeeper and comptroller for registration and payment needs. Print lunch rosters, deliveries, and ordering Pizza Fridays. Organize and order all ice cream orders. Manage all early dismissals. Organization of camp orders and purchase order systems through Excel. Maintain expenses spreadsheet and monitor seasonal spending. Performs other duties as assigned.
