About The Position

This position is responsible for: Providing music instruction to campers under the direction of the Conservatory Director AND performs a variety of clerical and secretarial work necessary for the smooth operation of the camp office.

Requirements

• Six months’ experience teaching dance or drama, with the ability to perform and teach lessons in a classroom setting involving more than one student preferred, or
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

• Assists with copying, filing or other office responsibilities as needed.
• Assists with preparations for camper registration including checking in paperwork.
• Provides quality music instruction to campers.
• Teaches music theory as it applies to the appropriate level for playing purposes.
• Provides appropriate lessons for instruction time
