Provide health services to all campers and staff during the Summer camping season.
Requirements
They will assist in creating a Christian atmosphere and support the infusion of Christian Outreach through the programming.
This individual must be of good character, mature and able to uphold the Christian standards and ministries of The Salvation Army in all areas of job responsibilities.
Related schooling commensurate with certification requirements.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar software.
Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) required.
Must pass all applicable background checks.
Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside.
Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Nice To Haves
Preferred 6 months related experience in a personal relationship with Christ and working with youth.
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) may be given preference.
Responsibilities
Check medical information as entered onto Camp Management Software.
Dispense medication.
Refill first aid kits weekly.
Maintain a clean and orderly health clinic.
Maintain required paperwork in an orderly fashion.
Provide first aid.
Operate camp vehicle, if needed, to reach campers in need of first aid or transport campers to medical facilities.
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the position.
