Requirements

Must pass YMCA background check
Possess (or obtain during training) a current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
Must have reliable transportation for self and camp supplies
16 years or older

Responsibilities

Provide safe environment for elementary and pre-school age children
Implement curriculum for a variety of enrichment (STEM, Cooking, Art, etc.) and sports camps
Establish good rapport with parents and children
Keep accurate rosters and records of attendance.
Being a positive role model for youth in day camps
Transport equipment to and from camp sites
Reliably attend day camps in various locations (Sherwood, Tigard, West Linn, Wilsonville) camp hours 9:00-3:00, or Noon-3:00. Shifts hours vary between 8:00-4:00. Hours range from 15-35 per week
