PT Pooled Position (Camp Counselor) - Verne Cox Multi-Purpose Center
About The Position
Assist the VCMRC staff with planning, implementation, and supervision of recreation programs, activities and special events for children and adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. This position may encompass the hours of afternoons, evenings, weekends and occasional holidays. Maintains required documentation of programs and participants. Provides good customer service by: greeting visitors with a verbal hello. Refers to monthly calendar to provide accurate information to customers. Arranges chairs, tables, audio/visual equipment and sporting or exercise equipment in designated rooms or other areas for scheduled group activities such as parties, group meetings, or sports events. Monitors spectators and participants during programs and sports events to ensure orderly conduct. Assists in programs, mainly Summer Programming which involves summer camps and aquatic programming. Assists in the maintenance, cleaning and organization of the general facility, supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be age 16 or older
